Professor Pip lives on every page. Tap Pip to ask a question about the part you are on. Pip answers from a large bank of checked answers and shows the right part of the book to look at again.
For parents: Pip does not use AI and does not chat freely. Every answer was written and checked in advance. If Pip has no answer yet, it says so, points to the right chapter, and we add a new answer.

Science Made Clear did not start at a publisher. It started at home, as revision notes a parent wrote for their own child. Parents have passed it on to other parents ever since, and it is free for every family to use.
Many of us have sat beside our children during revision and watched them learn answers by heart without really understanding them. They knew the words an examiner wants to see, but not the reason behind them. When a question was asked in a new way, they were stuck.
So these books explain one idea at a time. Each process is drawn step by step, short animations show what happens inside a leaf or along a magnet, and model answers are written the way a marker expects to read them. A patient owl, Professor Pip, keeps children company along the way.
The notes were first shared with a few friends, and then with their friends. Parents passed them on because they helped their own children. That is how Science Made Clear grew: shared by parents, for kids.
Science Made Clear is free, and it will stay free. Made by parents, shared by parents, for kids. You are welcome to read, print at home, share with other families and use it in class. Please do not sell it or use it for any commercial purpose. The books are shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 licence (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Every page works without an account, and nothing about a guest is saved. Progress resets after you leave. A free account, set up by a parent with a username and a simple password, saves progress so it follows your child to any device. It also unlocks Cards, which shows the book one section at a time, and Practice cards, one question at a time, chosen from what your child has done, what they found tricky and what is due for review. Cards, the full page and Practice cards all share the same progress. We keep only the username and learning activity, never names or emails, and you can delete the account at any time.
This is a parents-for-parents project, and it improves with every family that uses it. If you spot a mistake, know a good Singapore example, or try one of the home experiments with your child, please tell us through Help us improve. With your permission, we will thank you by name in the next edition.
If the books help your child, the kindest thing you can do is pass them on to another parent.
Thank you for reading, and for sharing.
